Health and our Environment

It is indeed true that health is essential for a good quality of life in a sense that a person no matter how rich and wealthy can never enjoy life when he or she is sick.

As part of the challenge hint some of the point issued by the united nations general assembly are;

1. Providing health care to nations in crisis

2. Making health care accessible to everyone

3. Expanding access to vaccines and medicine

4. Making healthy food more accessible

5. Investing in health care workers

TELL US IN YOUR WORDS WHAT YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT GLOBAL HEALTH.

According to my own personal research the term global health I can simply be defined as an area of study research and practice main priority and goal is improving and maintaining Nationwide health.

Global health is a kind of an association whose fundamental aid is to ensure a better health outcome for the vulnerable population all around the world be ensuring the maintenance of good health in various communities around the world through research, education and both scientific and collaborative interventions

WHICH POINT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU? GIVE YOUR REASONS.

I have carefully go through the point given as part of this engagement challenge hint and to me the point which I think is the most important is the second point which says "Making health care accessible to everyone"

And the reason why I think that it is the most important point is due to the fact that I have seen and heard of so many cases in which many patients had died due to the fact that they were not able to afford their medical bills or pay for the necessary treatment their body required.

So therefore a situation were health care facilities would be made accessible to everyone in terms of affordable medical bills it will really help a lot of people at the same time tends to save more life, because the masses will be able to afford and buy the necessary medicine needed for their survival.

WHICH POINT IS THE LEAST IMPORTANT TO YOU? GIVE YOUR REASONS.

I know for sure that at this point you would probably be expecting me to pick point number 5 to be the least important but that would be and understatement because once the health workers are fully invested in by paying them their deserving salary it will help motivate them more to take their work more serious than ever thus rendering service to a patients more effectively.

So to me personally the point that I think is the least important is point number 4 which is "Making healthy food more accessible" this to me is the least important in a sense that it is not the global health workers that will be working from house to house to investigate and screen our food to ensure that it is safe for consumption.

Most especially in a country like Nigeria that most people especially in the villages are the ones producing the food the eat on a day to day basis and this are the farmers.

So instead of cherishing this point I would prefer that point number 2 and point number 3 should be encouraged more, because when the population are given full access to health care as well as medicines and vaccines it would definitely save many lives.

IF YOU CAN ADD ONE MORE POINT, WHAT WILL IT BE? WHY?

If I am being given the golden chance to add one more point it would be "Sufficient health care services to the less privilege". Yes absolutely, that would be the point I would like to add, but why you may ask?

The reason why I would like to add this point is due to the fact that in the world we are all living in now we all know that not all fingers are equal so some people may be rich while some may be poor and unable to take care of themselves properly not to talk of their medical bills.

So therefore the reasons for this particular point that I've just mentioned earlier is to focus mainly on the less privilege citizens to help support them in terms of medical bills and free medicine 💊 especially preventive medicine.

Health is wealth, so always remember to take good care of yourself by eating healthy, engaging in exercise and always willing to visit a doctor when you start seeing some strange health threatening signs.
