INTRODUCTION
It is with great joy that I welcome you all to another exciting steem engagement challenge S12/W4 which is being hosted by the @meraindia with the theme "Share your statements about a proverb-"It's good to be bad."
Today which I will be submitting my entry I will be sharing with you all base on my own point of view my understanding of the statement "it's good to be bad" so just sit back and let's reason together.
SHARE YOUR STATEMENTS ABOUT A PROVERB-"IT'S GOOD TO BE BAD."
According to my understanding of the statement "it's good to be bad" it is simply a sudden change in behavior of a person for some certain reason which may turn out to be of betterment to oneself, family or friends or pertaining to the situation a person finds his/her self in.
It is ironical in nature since the statement is focus on a bad thing being good which is a kind of an understatement in the real world but a word of wisdom in the literally world.
DO YOU THINK SOMETIMES WE NEED TO BE A BIT HARSH IF IT IS FOR OUR LOVED ONE'S BETTERMENT? Justify your point.
Yes absolutely sometimes we need to be a little bit harsh most especially when it has something to do with our loved ones (family), but at the same time not too harsh so as to avoid unnecessary mistakes in action to avoid regrets.
Though in the christian teaching it is said that blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth, meanwhile over reacting is one thing while defending a person's right is another thing.
You can't expect me to sit down quietly and watch someone oppressing my love ones and then you expect me to keep quiet about it, I will definitely stand up for them and bodly defend them with all my strength because I know they would do the same for me.
Which shows you that it is sometimes necessary for us to be a little harsh and bold at the same time in other to help scare away oppressors from our love one's.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BAD FOR OTHERS FOR THEIR BETTERMENT? SHARE IF THERE ANY INCIDENT YOU HAVE.
Yes indeed I have not once but many times been bad with other people's for the betterment of my love ones and it all happened last year December when me and my two brothers attended a night party then all of a sudden someone out of nowhere came and start insulting my senior brother for no reason may he was drunk but I didn't care one bit I'd slap him in the face and me and my brothers then join force to beat him and eversince then he learned his lessons.
And another one happened when I was in college which was some years back you know in college as a student before you submit an assignment you will have to submit it to the class rep to then take it to the lecturers office.
So we'd all submitted our assignment and then the class rep took it all to the lecturers office then all of a sudden two of our colleagues came late and were begging the class rep to help them in submitting the assignment and then he refused saying that he is busy and those two students were both worried thinking if they would fail the course just like that and one of them was even about to cry.
So I was just sitting in the back watching them though not everyone noticed them and I barely know them but at that point I knew that the needed someone to stand up for them so I immediately went and commanded the class rep with series of threats to immediately collect their assignment and help them to summit it.
And it was the that everyone noticed and behold the whole of the department supported me and just like that he then stood up and collectef their assignment and went and summit them to the lecturer though the class rep hated me for doing that but at least I'd stood up and defended the right of another person.
