The difference between insanity and believe lies only in the numbers of believers and in this case being hard working pays a lot because every hustle has a payday but working smart pays even more
EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HARD WORK AND SMART WORK ACCORDING TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING?
According to my own understanding of the word hard work or labour work it refers to the kind of work which a person does with maximum working effort in other to be able to achieve his/her goals
And hard work can also be refer to as a kind of work in which a person spends a great amount of time before being able to complete the given task or challenge
WHILE
Smart work can be said to be a process whereby a person or an individual is able to complete a given task with less time and also with minimum working effort
It is a process of accomplishing a given challenge with less time, stress and effort, a smart working person only aims at finding alternative ways in solving complex problems with less time and effort thereby creating different shortcuts that will help him achieve them.
HARD WORK AND SMART WORK, WHICH DO YOU THINK IS BETTER FOR BOOSTING PRODUCTIVITY?
In terms of boosting productivity I think both hard work and smart work can do just that, but now let's look at it in terms of the nation's development.
HARD WORK
In a developing country like Nigeria I think we really need more hard working citizens than smart working ones, because it is only hard work that can serve a productive country.
Take our state akwa ibom for example which is a oil producing state that supplies palm oil to the nation, and if the citizens lacks the spirit of hard work in them it will greatly reduce the level of production thereby causing inflation
SMART WORK
A smart working person is not always concerned with the productive state of the nation, which is to say that a smart working person is not good for a productive state like Nigeria because there are only in for individual development
A smart working person won't follow you to the farm but he will have an easy way to work and rest enough money to buy a farm with little or no effort, and even though a smart working person acquires a farm he/she will need an hard working person (labourer) to develop and work on the land.
So you see that when it comes to picking which one is best for boosting productivity I think both of them, because a smart worker fines easy solution to complex problems while hard workers assist them with their labour man power
For example a website owner, blogger, FX trader who is capable of making huge amount of money with just some few clicks wants to build a house they will definitely need the help of a labour workers
So you see that smart work and hard work those two can't be separated but for me I choose to be a smart worker
DO YOU APPLY BOTH IN YOUR WORK ACTIVITIES OR NOT? EXPLAIN CASE EXAMPLES.
Yes!! Absolutely yes, I really do apply both of the above mentioned which are hard work and smart work in my daily activities because in life you can not just fold your hands and sit down then expect food to start dropping on your table, no it doesn't work that way.
That's why I'd always try my best to be hard working and sweat on the nose in other to be able to achieve some of my goals, at the same time I'd always apply smart work in some areas in other to boost productivity and positive results
For example I could remember when we were asked to fetch some water from our neighbours borehole and we were three boys in number even though it wasn't far because it was in our neighbours compound
But I thought about the stress of carrying the water in a bucket on my head, then I remembered that I once saw my neighbours with pipes, so I went to then and borrowed the pipes while the other two boys were still fetching the water by carrying it on their head
So I linked the pipes from the tap to the drums in our compound that we were asked to filled even though the other two boys had fetch the water and it reach almost half of the drum but my idea filled the whole four drums much quicker and without stress
